I made a step back and let my hand over the boy.A green light got out him and into my hand.

-Ok,I said.Unluckiness is gone.

I turned and left quickly.

I nod to the girl who I had been fighting, "Great game." I mumble. "Didn't even get to hurt anyone." I grumble and kick a few stones. I pick up a stone and toss it into the creek, "Awesome game." I say sarcastically, I sheath my knife onto my belt and start walking away. This was a really stupid waste of my time, I think to myself as I leave.

I leave, unsure who won the game. My first experience of capture the flag was not the best.

Aria took a step back. There was naked fear on her face. Fear... of Gregor.

Aria took another step back. "That's not possible," Aria whispered. "Oh gods, this shouldn't be happening!" She teetered on the edge of fear and terror and it would take only one misstep to send her over the chasm.

Bright green smoke enters my mouth and Gaea suddenly possesses me. I have no control over myself or what I do, how I think or feel. It feels like I've been pulled out of my body and something else has been stuffed inside me. Through eyes that suddenly alien to me, I lob a fist at Aria.

Aria screamed as Gregor tried to punch her. She dodged easily enough and notched an arrow to the string. "Stay where you are!" she yelled, voice a good octave higher than her usual volume. Gods, where had all the others gone when she needed help? "Don't make any sudden moves." She was calming down, sorting out what had happened. When she spoke this time, her voice was like ice; hard and cold. "Drop your weapons."

"Never!" Gaea sneers, launching Gregor's scythe at her this time.

Aria lowered her bow, releasing it with one hand. As it swung to her side, she ducked under the blade and reached up, her fingers closed around the hilt of Gregor's scythe. "I said," Aria said coldly. "Not to try anything." She rose back to a standing position.

Gaea sneers and holds out a hand. The scythe flies back into it at the simple gesture. "It's not that easy, little one," she snarls, slashing the scythe at Aria yet again.

Aria ducked under his swing and found herself inside Gregor's guard. He wouldn't be able to hurt her unless he retreated - and quickly at that. She tried to kick his feet out from under him.

"You surely wouldn't want to kill Gregor," Gaea said with false, sicking sweetness. "I know what you think of him. Tell me!" she demands.

Gaea takes the chance and launches a random awkward, nearby knife at Aria's face.

Aria ducks, but the blade just grazes the side of her face. Blood showers Gregor's face and the leaves, bright red against brown.

I cough and Gaea says, "Watch your soul vanish!" She sniggers and leaves my body to force me to see what I've done.

Aria took a step back, she was scared. Oh, so scared. What was going on? She didn't know and that uncertainty made her dangerous.
