Was he sure he wanted to know? Yes, he wanted to know... but he didn't want to hurt her. This time, he didn't take the paper from her. Gently, he took her pencil from her slender hands, his rougher fingers brushing hers ever so slightly. Do you want to tell me? He set the pencil down and looked at her. His eyes had lost their cold edge. Now they were calm, a little sad, but waiting for her answer.

Ty read what she said and set the notebook down. He didn't write an answer back to her, just wrapped his arms around her in a protective embrace. "I'm not going to abandon you, Abs. I promise." And promises are for keeping, he added in his mind.

I took the notebook from where he let it and started writing.

-"I...When I was a kid,13 years old,someone attacked me.He...wanted something from me.And,I tried to fight him.But,he had a knife.And he injured me.Hopefully,a nurse was going to her work from that street and saw me bleeding.I woke up after a week.I always wanted to forget but...I have a scar to remind me",I wrote slowly.

Ty took that in, reading over her shoulder as she wrote with careful precision. However, her hands trembled slightly; the experience must have been a pretty bad one for her. But all demigods had had some attack sooner or later... what was so special about this one? "What happened then?" he asked gently, blue eyes studying her face with traces of concern.

Ty cocked his head to one side, looking at her carefully. So that was why she never spoke. She wasn't just quiet, she couldn't speak. But he surprised her. "So?" he asked. "You can't speak; big deal. You're still beautiful." Oh gods, he hadn't just said that, had he? Yeah, he had... but he didn't take it back. She was beautiful, why deny it?

I was never blushed ib mt life.So I didn't blushed now either.But,still,I felt...weird avout his comment.Yes,weird was the perfect word.

Ty took her pencil from her again and studied her paper, trying to think of something he could write that would make her feel better. After a moment, he mentally shrugged and wrote: Screw normal. No one want to be normal; it's boring. You're unique... and that's a good thing.

A shy smile appeared on my face when I readed what he wrote.I looked ay him and my smile widened.And then I looked back at the paper.

Ty didn't say anything else, just held her gently. She felt warm in his arms... and he didn't want to let her go. At least, not yet. He liked her shy smile, the adorable way in which she was sorta blushing but not really. But he didn't want to push their tentative friendship just yet. The problem? He couldn't stop himself.

I prefer you just the way you are. Ty carefully wrote the words out, trying not to go on mental overload at the same time. He wasn't used to her on this level, but he didn't want her to move away...
