Nicola's bunk

Subject: Nicola's bunk Thu May 31, 2012 9:32 am

I walked into my cabin,closed the door and sat on my bunk with a big smile on my face.I staied like that that for a moment,staring at the closed door.Then I got up,searched to a self a put a CD on the stereo.After a minuite,Michael Jackson's voice singing "The way you make me feel" filled he silence of the room.I started cleaning my bunk.

When I finished cleaning my bunk,I looked around.

-I think I'll clean all the cabin,I said and grabbed a broom.

I started cleaning still listening to Michael Jackson.Then,an idea came to my mind.When the "The way you make me feel" started playing aggain I stopped cleaning and started singing,pretending that I was Michael Jackson and that the broom was my microphone.

Tory walked in. "Cola!" she cried. "Oh my gods, you are not going to believe what just happ-" She stopped and looked around. It was really clean for a guy's cabin and there was Michael Jackson playing and he was singing to it. "Erm," she said, looking back to him. "Did I just interrupt something?"

I let the broom fel down and turned surprised.

-Tory!I said.Hi.I was....erm....I was cleaning.

I grabbed the broom and continue cleaning quickly.

-Come in,sit,tell me what do you want,I said showing her my bunk.

"Yeah, you were doing a very good job of it too," Tory said, looking around the near spotless cabin. "Was that you just singing?" she asked, a trace of a smile on her face. Oh Nicola...

The song changed."Thriller".

-Do you want me to turn it off?I asked Tory.

Tory laughed. "If you're a Jackson fan, I suppose you can leave it on," said she. "It's not important."

"Oh-my-good-gods," Tory said in a furious rush as it all came back. "You just missed the most ridiculous, stupid, confusing, and overall pointless Capture the Flag game of all time!"

"No, the problem is that the idiot who secured the victory was way to powerful," Tory complained. She was so furious that her hair bust into flames and it took her a moment to make it go back to its normal state. She continued as if this was perfectly normal. "Nothing he did made any sense, while it was happening or looking back on it! It was so dumb! And then he got most of his bones broken but he still crossed the line. Oh! And as soon as the person who'd caused that to happen left, he somehow managed to snap all his bones back into place and heal himself! How unfair can you get?" she demanded, still furious.

"What?" Tory asked, feeling her hair. It didn't smell smoky or feel hot. It was just normal, fiery red hair again. "Oh, it just happens when I'm worked up," she said with a shrug. "Comes from being the daughter of the River of Fire I suppose."

"Uh, yeah," Tory said, a little uncomfortable by his amazement. She always got that reaction when she lost control... Well that or she just scared people.

I touched her hair with my hand.It was like normal hair.But I still had the picture of her hair turning into flames in my mind.
