I walked in with Nick, I was smiling brightly. I looked around, trying to find the fruits. I leaned on one of the walls waiting for him to lead the way.

Nick trotted in after Alexia. "Food!" he cried dramatically, throwing up his arms. He took of her hands in his and led the way to a truly enormous bowl of fruit. He pulled out a huge red apple and bit into it. "This is good," he mumbled, gesturing to the apple with his head because one hand was on the apple and he was holding her hand with the other. "Want one?" he asked with a grin as he swallowed his bite.

I walked over to the fruit, I wasn't a huge fan of fruit, actually I wasn't a huge fan of food at all. I look from Nick to the apples then back to Nick, I smile thinking about how he would look if he were an apple. I take an apple and rub it gently, I smile at him again, "You really like apples, don't ya?" I ask him.

"Maybe," Nick said with a grin, plopping down in a chair. "I happen to be a big fan of anything food oriented actually," he continued with another bite. "I'm a big fan of anything sweet though. Especially if it's a pretty daughter of Deimos."

I smile shyly, I didn't want to tell him that I didn't like food. I thought about it, then took a big bite of my apple, I start chewing slowly. I swallow the piece and look at him, "Hmm, I think a certain handsome son of Aria should be more careful." I say, mysteriously.

"Arai," Nick corrected with a grin, liking the mystery in her voice. He reached over, playing with a strand of her hair. "Just how careful should I be?" he asked with mischief glinting in his eyes. He liked it that she called him handsome.

I smile, embarrassed about my mistake, I wasn't so good at remembering names. "Very careful." I say, still being really mysterious. I look down, not really minding him playing with my hair. "Just be careful, I don't want anything happening to such a pretty face." I say in a really low tone, hoping he wouldn't hear what I said.

"More careful than I am already?" Nick asked, feigning shock. "Oh man. Woe is me!" He grinned at her. "If anything bad happens to me," he said with mock consideration. "I'll just jinx the person whose responsible. An eye for an eye."

I smiled at him, nervously, I hoped he never actually meant he would kill someone. I cough slightly, "Um, so if I were to, um, hurt you, would you hurt me back?" I ask in a low tone. I wasn't sure why I was suddenly being so shy and nervous.

"Probably not," Nick said, rolling his eyes with a grin. He didn't think she meant it seriously. "I mean - if you hurt me on purpose, I'd probably flip out, but I wouldn't get all stabby with you." Plus, she was a girl and he had a strict policy of not hurting girls - or at least taking it easy on them.

I wasn't gonna hurt him or anything, I just wanted to see his reaction to my question. I suppressed a laugh, trying to hide a smile. I leaned against the wall, resting my head against it. "That's good to hear." I mumble. I look down concentrating on my healed foot, I move it slightly and look up again. I wasn't really sure what to say, I wasn't much of a conversation starter.

Nick leaned against the wall, next to her. "First time hurting that foot?" he asked her, looking curious. "One of my 'friends' sprained their ankle jumping out of a train. It wasn't what I'd call pretty..." He shuddered at the memory.
