Talking to Chiron

Chiron smiles. "Good luck, Rayn. I have complete confidence in you."

Chiron smiles and waves good-bye.

"Chiron - I'm hungry!" Jane whined to Chiron. A rainbow muffin appears. "I'm confused!"

"Iris must favor you," Chiron says, smiling fondly.

"you don't think she's my mum ?"I ask

"You never know," Chiron says mysteriously. "She'll have to send you a sign first, or your powers will determine your parentage before long."

I look around, looking for a road sign saying Iris. I do not notice the rainbow above my head saying Iris.

Chiron laughs. "Looks like your mom is Iris," he says with a smile. "That means you can move into the Iris cabin now - and out of the Unclaimed one."

"Yay!" Rainbows follow me leaving.

Chiron smiles as she leaves.

Aliah was guide to this place my a demigod who didn't mind helping her, Aliah appeared looking around." Hello?" She asked looking around.

Chiron looked up with a friendly smile. "Hello," he said, pushing his wheelchair around from behind the desk and wheeling over to her. "Welcome to Camp Half-Blood."

Aliah smiled." Thank you, I've figured out I'm daughter of Apollo but I want to know mpre about the camp.. what's it like."

Chiron nodded. "That is completely understandable," he said. "My name is Chiron, I'm the activities director here at Camp." He looked at her with interest. "But let's start with you," he said thoughtfully, offering her a seat. "How much do you know about the Greek gods?"

Aliah shook her head." I only know who Apollo is." She shrugged like it was no big deal. She new nothing else unless it included music. She let go of her suitecase.

Chiron nodded. "And that's completely understandable," he said. "Do you know of the twelve Olympians? Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Hephaestus, Dionysus, Apollo, Ares, Hera, Aphrodite, Hestia, Artemis, Athena?" Thunder rumbled overhead, but he ignored it.

Aliah shook her head embarrassed." I'm sorry sir but everything I know about is in music." She looked at her feet kicking the ground a little.

"And that's good, especially since it's relative to your godly parent," Chiron said kindly. "If I were you, I'd find a good child of Athena who'd be willing to fill you in. They're usually real good for that or one of the older campers. You'll know them by the camp beads that they wear. But I fear I'm being terribly rude; I haven't even had the courtesy to ask your name!"

Aliah smiled, she was happy to give her name to him." Aliah Joy." She told him, she only gave her first and middle name. She now had to go look for a Athena child she sighed." I'm guessing the Athena kids are the smart ones?" She asked.

Chiron shrugged. "Generally speaking so, yes," he said. "They're most prominent feature is knowing what seems like everything sometimes. Unfortunately, some people get rather annoyed with them."

Aliah nodded. She was gonna find an Athena kid." I really want to knowore about thi place but mind if I go unpack, take a shower and come back?" She asked, hoping she wasn't being rude, she kept pushing her hair back and tilting her head a little.

Chiron nodded.
Ryder burst through the door. "Chiron!" he exclaimed. "Have you seen Rayn? It's been days and she got beat up -" He stopped very suddenly. "Erm... sorry," he muttered. "I'll go wait outside..."
"No, Ryder it's quite alright," Chiron said. "Aliah, this is Ryder, son of Pontus. He's been at Camp for several years now, I'm sure he can fill you in."
Ryder looked from one to another. "Where's Rayn, Chiron?" he asked in a low voice.
Chiron looked slightly uncomfortable. "It pains me to tell you this, but I don't know where she is." He gave him a critical look. "And would you mind throwing on a shirt next time you drop by?"
Ryder glared. "That son of Kronos threw up on me when I took him to the infirmary, there was no way I was going to leave it on." Rayn... where was Rayn? Was she okay? Was it something he'd done?
Chiron cleared his throat. "Would you be so kind as to show Miss Joy to her cabin?" he asked.
Ryder nodded stiffly. "Of course, sir," he said with a tinge of irony in his voice.

Aliah looked at Ryder, she thought he was kinda of cute. She wondered who Rayn was, she smiled still looking confused. She pushed her hair bacl again, camp half blood seemed like an odd place. Men with goat legs, her and her power. Aliah turned around, she really wanted to hurry up and go to her cabin, she needed a shower, clothes change and to lcear her head or something, she gasped to herself, she was gonna cry. She forgot her guitar, her mom's guitar she kind of jumped." I'll get it next time I visit home." She thought to herself. She straighten up, ready to go to her cabin.
