| My face turned into a mask of shock that turned into horror when I realized what I've done.I hugged her back gently and carefully picked her up before placing her on my lap and lresting her head on my shoulder.I stroked her hair and caressed her soft skin while she cryied,wispering soothing little words that I was hoping would make her feel better.I ended up whimpering and,before I realized it,I was crying with her as we stood there in silence. | |
