I laughed and placed a quick kiss on her neck before going back to her room.I jumped on her bed and opened the TV.Thankfully there was still some cartoons playing so I had something to watch while I waited.

She smiled and hummed to herself. After she finished with the wings, she slid the pan in the oven. She started making cornbread.

"Thanks sweetie, but I got it. " she said and pushed him out of the kitchen, forcing him to sit. After she did this, Chrissy took both the wings and the cornbread to the table."Dinner is serviced."

"Slow down.." she said and sat on his lap. "You can have desert afterwords." She whispered in his hear. She then got up and briskly walked into the other room.

She nodded "desert." She repeated and got up. She walked to the fridge and brought out a strawberry shortcake. "Desert." She smiled and started eating her dinner.
