Bad Wounds

Kyle walked into the infirmary holding Summers hand. She looked around and saw a bed where she could lay down, he walked towards it and waited for her to follow.

"Sit down." Kyle told her. "I'll clean that wound for you." he told her with a smile, though he was worried.

Kyle fetched some cotton and a small basin. He grabbed a towel from the cupboard and he took a small bottle of anti-septic from the shelf. He poured some water into the basin and added a bit of the anti-septic to the water. He walked over to Summer and laid the towel next to her. "Could you please tilt your head a bit forward?" he asked her with a smile.

Kyle dabbed the water onto her head where the blood was coming from. The cut wasn't as big as he suspected, but it was still big. She would've lost conscious a long time ago if she wasn't as strong as she was. He cleaned the blood off her hair and dried it slightly with the towel. He placed a bandage on the wound, then looked at her. "What would you like to ask?" he asked her, smiling. He knew she was fine now, but he couldn't risk it. He got a glass of nectar and gave it to her, "Drink this." he told her gently.

"It's nectar." Kyle told her, "It's the drink of gods, but we can drink it because we are demigods and it should heal us." he explained. "Anyways, what did you want to ask?" he asked.

Kyle grinned at her, "Of course we are friends." he told her. "Why did you think we wouldn't be?" he asked her.

Kyle looked a bit confused, "Why?" he asked her.

Kyle smiled at her, "Hey, it's okay. I sorta know that pain." he told her softly, "But we can get through this together." he said.

Kyle nodded his head, "Sure." he told her happily.

Kyle blushed a little, "Why are you sorry?" he asked, grinning like a maniac.

"Why are you sorry about it?" he asked, "Friends hug each other, right?" he asked.

Kyle smiled at her and hugged her tightly, "You don't need to explain." he told her in a whisper.

Kyle shook his head. "No, you're the only friend I've had." he told her in a whisper.
