Erik sighed miserably. He hated talking about this kinda stuff, especially when it was about him. He'd always been told he never met the bar, always felt like he'd never be good enough. He'd attempted to kill himself several times before actually. Only the bullet had jammed in his gun. Someone had found him just before he passed out from blood loss after slashing his wrists. That time he'd jumped off the roof he'd hit grass instead of pavement. The world was just a conspiracy... It never let him go. "Can we talk about something else?" Erik pleaded. "Please?"

"Thanks," he muttered. "Sorry... Just..." He stopped, this wasn't helping. The forest which had always seemed so much like a place of refuge to him before, now seemed dark and imposing. The trees seemed to be looming over him, closing in. Frightened, he got to his feet, wanting to leave. To get out of this place that was crushing him as surely as if all the weight of the world was resting on his shoulders.

I walk in, not thinking about where I was. I hadn't been here for long, but it seemed like a pretty cool place. I sighed and sat down on rock waiting for someone to enter.

I look up and see a person, "Hi." I say with a smile. I was relieved to finally find someone to talk to. He might be a bit younger than me but a friend is a friend. "The name's Scarlet, what's yours?" I ask him.
