| Nick dodged the slash to his head, then turned with his opponent, stepping back as the hilt came towards him. He adjusted his stance and moved his sword faster, with more strength behind the blows. The great blade flashed before him and he grinned to himself. He always felt most alive when he was fighting. | |

| An old swordsman's trick, trying to twist the hilt to make the opponent drop it. So he released the blade, tossing the sword over his opponent's head. Before he could react, he'd moved around him, catching the hilt deftly and renewing the attack. | |
